Global Citizen, designer - SEE MORE DESIGNS
What if we could re-frame our perception of poverty just by using good design? As one of the founding creators of the brand Global Citizen, I worked for 4 years as the lead designer and brand manager for this organization that has raised funds and catalyzed a movement to end extreme poverty in our generation. I contributed to creative direction and lead the branding for the Global Citizen Festival advocacy concerts in Central Park, The End of Polio, Zero Poverty 2030, the online news portal, Global Citizen, billboards, print, web, mobile, newspaper ads, and more. While working for this incredible organization, I worked alongside organizations like UNICEF, The World Bank, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and saw the impact of brands and organizations uniting to end extreme poverty.
Creating the Watts Empowerment Center
In the Spring of 2017 the Watts Community Center lost all funding due to city wide budget cuts. Seeing the incredible need and potential, Youth Mentor team members put together a business proposal to create an Empowerment Center for Watts with brand new programming, tutoring, education and creative courses and more. In March 2018, we launched THE WATTS EMPOWERMENT CENTER - a new state-of-the-art-facility in Imperial Courts, Watts that we believe will redefine a zip code and provide access to education that will change the futures of children in Watts. As they say, the rest is history.

Acapella Uganda is a new restaurant and cafe in Adjumani, Uganda. Created by entrepreneur and business leader Haley Jean Baker. I worked with her to develop the concept of the restaurant, menu, marketing and directed the interior and architect design of the space. We wanted the restaurant to be a comfortable space that inspired wellness, healthy affordable food options, and community conversation and connection in war-torn Northern Uganda.
GoodCoffee is a brand that produces and sells life-changing coffee. With personal relationships and friendships with their farmers, the company seeks to do the most good they can locally and globally, while connecting coffee consumers to real stories and real faces in Burundi and Laos. As the Creative Director I worked with them to design coffee bags and branding that told their story that dignifies farmers and represents their excellent coffee product.
